I definitely went koi crazy. I wanted to paint this flashing underwater gem so I had a custom canvas made and painted 26 of them! Meet Inspector Clouseau”, “Bug Out Bob”, “The Stud”, “Palomino” and the rest of the party. They each won my heart. The loose impressionistic style adds to the movement and energy of these beautiful fish. Inspired by a photo by Zainal Baharum, this painting is done on a 1.5-inch wrapped canvas and arrives ready to hang.
