My secret life as a geologist — actually not a secret, just a long time ago — made me very aware of the microscopic beauty hidden inside rocks and minerals. The cryptocurrency of the petrographic scope inspired this liquid paradise where one lies soaking in sun-drenched turquoise waters. How’s that for being transported by art? This painting expertly blends acrylics right on the canvas creating the effect of light dancing over the surface.
