Hello Universe. This painting, adapted from a Hubble telescope photo of a nebula, is a literal star nursery, where cosmic dust is actively coalescing into stars. I use this image to represent Universe in the Cosmic Series. The painting is rendered by the mixing and blending of oil paint directly on the canvas to attain the delicate, glowing, mystical feeling of pulsating light from the birthing stars.
