These spectacular old oaks welcoming the winter sun remind me of two friends who have been through a lot together. Through their friendship they remain strong and beautiful. Trees in companionship actually do this for each other, it’s no longer myth. In this petite painting, with Mt. Figueroa presiding, I memorialized this friendship with the generous paint, color, and love.
