To call a rose yellow is pure convenience. A yellow rose has more colors than any other rose and this particular yellow rose is the most colorful of all. Like a bikini, there’s a lot going on :). Toward the latter part of my rose period I began texturing the canvas underneath the painting. I love the effect on the final product as this dynamic underlayer bursts through the shadows, curvature and translucence of the rose itself which is attained by blending the oil paint right on the canvas. This stunning painting is available in a variety of print sizes.
